I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.

I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.

Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Chapter Eight: Where Memory Rests

Khelaris changed slowly after Corven’s episode, though the shift lived more in atmosphere than procedure.

The station still carried the same rhythms through its corridors. Monitors still hummed softly through sleepless hours while rehabilitation schedules rotated endlessly across medical terminals. Patients still wandered the arboretum during difficult nights searching for silence gentle enough to rest inside. Though something quieter had settled beneath the daily motion, as if the station itself had exhaled after surviving another close brush with collapse.

Corven withdrew for several days afterward. Though not completely. He still attended observation sessions. He still…

Mission: Pirates!
Posted on Sun Jun 28th, 2026 @ 10:37pm by Commander Jennifer Baldric & Commander Dean House

Dean had been cleared from Sickbay finally and given light duty, which frankly was boring. Of course it was to him, well, not all the time. He was still pretty sore, particularly on the one side. There was a bright part to his days when the chance gave it. Spending breakfast, lunch, or both with Jennifer.

Adorning a fresh uniform, and stepping into the Officer's Mess. Moving over to sit down at 'their' table. Setting the duty PADD down to pick up one and start looking through it for what he might want to eat. Probably something a little lighter…

Mission: Pirates!
Posted on Sun Jun 28th, 2026 @ 10:33pm by Captain Rhenora Kaylen

Captain Bozeman retreated to what was left of his ready room after the immediate crisis has passed. Their last vision of the ISS Sunfire was the plasma filament closing in on their position. Whilst he was certain the Mirror Universe ship had not been destroyed, he knew he had bought them some time. The Bristol was out of the Badlands and making for DS9 at best speed - which wasn't much - but they were moving in the right direction. Engineering were working as hard as they could to increase the warp power from 2 to 6, but that -…

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Sun Jun 28th, 2026 @ 1:17pm by Lieutenant JG T'Lar & Lieutenant JG Jacob Rosen

It was one of those rare mornings along the California Coast that wasn't socked in with overcast, fog or drizzle. The early morning sun was bright and high over the hills of Pacifica as Jake and Tally, aka Jacob and T'Lar made their way south through the small little suburb along the rocky shoreline of the ocean for which it was named. T'Lar had set their motorcycles on GPS enabled auto cruise tandem ride mode which meant the bikes basically rode themselves with full gyro stabilization, auto braking, automatic speed regulation, lane recognition and maintenance in a staggered formation no…

Mission: Pirates!

"Shattered glass still reflects. It simply shows the truth in pieces."

USS Bristol – Bridge

The ship and her crew were tired. Not destroyed. Not defeated. Simply tired. Every deck seemed to groan beneath the strain. Every bulkhead carried fresh scars from the battle. Emergency repairs remained underway throughout the vessel. The smell of burnt circuitry lingered faintly in the recycled air.

Captain Bozeman remained standing. No one had suggested he sit.

Outside the viewscreen, the Badlands churned with rivers of plasma and storms capable of tearing starships apart. Somewhere within that chaos hunted the I.S.S. Sunfire.

The fact that…

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.

Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.

Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…

» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer

Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne

Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge

Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.

At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.

Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.

Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)

I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2

The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
