I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.
I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.
Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Tue Feb 24th, 2026 @ 8:54pm by Commodore S'thenosis Gorgox & Commander Rosa Coy
Commodore S’thenosis Gorgox preferred physical texts when the subject warranted contemplation. The volume resting open in her quarters was not ancient, but it was printed in bound form, its pages textured rather than projected. The work concerned systemic collapse in multi-planetary coalitions, specifically the moment at which institutional preservation begins to override collective survival. She had annotated the margins with restrained precision, her script narrow and exacting, marking not emotional passages but structural inflection points.
Outside her viewport, stars held their ordered silence. The Sunfire maintained a steady patrol arc through known space, its hum a constant presence beneath the…

Mission: Beholder

0500hrs
T’Lar’s Quarters-Deck 3
T’Lar awoke with a start to the sound of her alarm chime. Her sleep had been deep and restful following 2 hours of meditation. Her stomach rumbled, protesting against the fact that she had skipped dinner the night before, opting to go straight to bed after meditating, but she pulled herself out from the covers and began her morning exercises anyway. 20 minutes worth of rigorous calisthenics later she headed for a cold shower. The icy water served two purposes in her morning ritual: it invigorated her, and helped cool her down given the fact that…

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Mon Feb 23rd, 2026 @ 10:37pm by Lieutenant JG Jacob Rosen & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale
Jacob walked into Sickbay for the first time, PaDD in hand with his list of check in priorities. He had already visited Quartermaster for his berthing assignment, still needed to verify his clearance with Security, and then his initial onboard eval with Command staff. However his Medical check in was something he had always dreaded, and in this case he would prefer to just knock it out straight away.
Jacob looked up from his PaDD as he walked past the bio beds and stopped outside the office nook. Doing a double take as he recognized the Chief Medical Officer, a…

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Mon Feb 23rd, 2026 @ 3:28am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Commander Jennifer Baldric & Commander Jenna Ramthorne & Commander Savar cha'Salik hei-Surak Talek-sen-deen & Commander Dean House & Lieutenant Commander Thriss Kla'ren & Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali & Lieutenant JG Micheal Stevens & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale & Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight & Lieutenant Commander Bonnie "Bon-Bon" Durnell
The team departed the Ready Room, concerned for the lack of time and the enormity of the task again. Rhenora handed over to Commander Savar for the next few hours - needing to A-eat and sleep, and B - have a conversation with Captain Batel about what exactly they were dealing with. She pulled up what little information they had about the Vezda, short videos, limited data and next to no intel from the last two hundred years. It was like fighting a foe you had no information about. This wasn't going to be easy.
The next morning at 0600…

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Mon Feb 23rd, 2026 @ 3:18am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale & Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight
A burst of static tore through the telemetry feed.
“Signal degradation at forty-three per cent,” Rowan said evenly, fingers flying across the console as he attempted to isolate the away team’s biosigns through the interference.
Olivia’s life signs flickered into partial view. Elevated heart rate. Muscular trauma to the left shoulder.
“Olivia is alive. Non-fatal energy impact.”
Behind him, Batel’s cortical trace spiked sharply, drawing Rowan’s gaze.
The harmonic band she had identified earlier had surged in perfect synchronisation with the weapons discharge.
“It reacted,” Batel said quietly.
Rowan moved to reroute the telemetry through the containment interface, bypassing standard…

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.
Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.
Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…
» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer
Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne
Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge
Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.
At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.
Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.
Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)
I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2
The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
