I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.

I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.

Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Mon Mar 30th, 2026 @ 3:43pm by Lieutenant Commander Bonnie "Bon-Bon" Durnell & Lieutenant Leo Da'Cinci & Commander Savar cha'Salik hei-Surak Talek-sen-deen & Commander Dean House & Lieutenant JG Micheal Stevens & Lieutenant JG Jacob Rosen & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale & Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight & Lieutenant JG T'Lar & Commander Jennifer Baldric & Lieutenant Sarah Wilson

Baldric and Dean entered, almost completely unrecognizable. That was the point, to blow off some steam, relax, and enjoy themselves. Jen sauntered up to the bar, the sway of her hips completely different out of uniform. "Whiskey, leave the bottle. Two glasses" she ordered, eyeing the label and wondering if it was real or not. Only one way to find out. She poured two healthy fingers worth and handed a glass to Dean.

If it wasn't real, Dean could always fix that for them. Though, given that this is 'invite' only or in a manner suppose to be, why wouldn't…

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Mon Mar 30th, 2026 @ 9:10am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Commander Dean House & Remal Kajun

Captain Kaylen Rhenora lingered in sickbay after Marie had passed, sittin quietly in the solomn environment. Everything and everyone seemed subdued, even the equipment seemed to function quieter. She took her time, murmouring the prayers most Bajorans uttered after the passing of a loved one. It felt a little odd, but she felt she and Dean were possibly the closest thing Marie had to a family, her own kin and loved ones would be long dead.

She held the cooling hand, promising to return to Earth to lay her with Chris, a little research would have to be done to…

Five Years Ago

(Day #1 - Observation Lounge)

The observation lounge was quieter than the rest of the ship. Elara had chosen it deliberately for that reason. Less noise. Fewer interruptions. A place where conversations didn't have to compete. She was halfway through a data review when someone stepped up beside the table.

"Is this seat taken?"

She glanced up. Starfleet uniform. Medical blue. He didn't smile but he wasn't cold either. He was... composed.

"No."

He sat down with a small nod, already setting the padd down in front of him. They worked in silence for a few minutes.…

The word was spread the old fashioned way - word of mouth. Scuttlebutt was that there was a club opening tonight - JG's and below. Inside the doors of Holodeck 5 deep down on deck 13, where the thrum of the Sunfire could be felt, was something meticulously curated. Thumbing the access panel would reveal the outside of a dark, wood paneled building and a black painted set of wooden doors, above which a flickering neon pink sign in exaggerated looping script.

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Sat Mar 28th, 2026 @ 9:45am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Commander Jennifer Baldric

Captain Captain Rhenora was subdued, as she often was when someone close had passed. The Sunfire had increase speed to warp 6 and was heading back to Earth to return Batel's body to her home. It raised the question of family, and did she have any? Sequestered in her Ready Room, she came across the Death Notice for the young securuty crewman that required some words and approval to be sent. Another knife twisted in her gut. She had been ariting the report for Command on the last mission, with all it's ups and downs and inbetweens. It hurt to…

» Personal Log - Early Observations

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.

Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.

Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…

» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer

Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne

Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge

Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.

At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.

Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.

Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)

I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2

The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
