I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.

I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.

Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Thu Feb 12th, 2026 @ 11:09am by Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali & Remal Kajun

Something was bothering Aurora, something she couldn’t put her finger on, something she couldn’t explain so she had decided it was time to talk with someone. Knowing Remal had once been a Chief Counsellor himself she’d requested his presence in her office, a nice quiet and private place to talk.

Remal arrived a few minutes later, unhurried, giving her the courtesy of calm. He paused just inside the doorway, offering a small, reassuring smile that carried no rank and no expectation. “Thank you for asking to see me, Aurora,” he said gently as he stepped in. “This seems like a…

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Thu Feb 12th, 2026 @ 12:22am by Commander Jennifer Baldric & Lieutenant Sarah Wilson & Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali & Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale

Rowan looked at Batel again, really looked this time.

“She survived centuries of being useful,” he said quietly. “Let’s see if she can survive being a patient.”

Aurora had been hanging back simply observing, to say this case was fascinating was an understatement. “I can’t even begin to understand what this woman has been through, to be a statue, a protector and now to be human again.”

Olivia was off in the small area that was set aside for basic food prep that wasn't done by the replicator. She pulled out two small containers of clear broth. One was a…

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Thu Feb 12th, 2026 @ 12:20am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Commander Jennifer Baldric & Lieutenant Sarah Wilson & Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale

The away team returned with an additional member, one who hadn't been entirely expected. The Beholder had retaken human form and was currently being supported by the ships mission advisor, Commander Baldric. The two of them had beamed directly to sickbay.

Rowan felt the transport before the pattern resolved.

Not through sensors. Through absence.

The biobeds had already adjusted themselves, anticipatory rather than reactive, inertial fields tightening a fraction too early, as if Sickbay had learned to brace before being told why. Rowan was halfway across the room when the transporter shimmer cut through the air.

Two figures. One supported.…

» Coy Sessions - The Night Coy Changed Gravity

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Wed Feb 11th, 2026 @ 3:06pm by Commander Rosa Coy & Remal Kajun

The day had the hush of a storm waiting for permission to break.

Rosa sat as if she had been carved into the chair rather than placed in it. Her posture wasn’t stiff so much as... calibrated. Shoulders relaxed but not loose. Hands open but not soft. Breath steady but only because she had ordered it so. She looked like someone who had spent a full week rehearsing composure and had finally convinced at least her body to believe it.

Remal watched her with the kind of attention that didn’t intrude. He simply existed in the same space, calm as…

» Coy Sessions - The Quiet Between Storms

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Mon Feb 9th, 2026 @ 3:20pm by Commander Rosa Coy & Remal Kajun

Rosa arrived early for her fourth appointment with Remal, early enough that the corridor lights still carried the soft, waking glow of artificial dawn. She moved with a peculiar tension, not the tight coil of panic or dread, but the quick silver indecision of someone arguing with herself at every step.

Coy was unusually still. Not silent, he never offered her silence, but muted, sitting deeper in her nervous system like a predator politely waiting behind a tree. You don’t have to tell him 'everything'.

That’s not comfort, that’s baiting. she shot back internally.

And yet you walked here early.…

» Personal Log - Early Observations

Posted on Mon Jan 26th, 2026 @ 1:56pm by Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.

Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.

Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…

» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer

Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne

Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge

Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.

At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.

Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.

Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)

I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2

The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
