Personal Log of Ensign Kitiuas Thenis on board the Thimmerand, a Wander-class blockade runner. We are making all due haste to the Kunar system. My cousin Tayshi D'hetr has decided, for the Thousand Gods known reason, to help in rescuing our senior officers. She has mustered a group of three other Orion ships: the Tokol, a Maraar-class Orion barge; the Vasrak, a Harmony-class Orion fast escort/blockade runner; and the Vaillun, a Wanderer-class Orion a Class V blockade runner. The Thimmerand is running cloaked, again the Thousand Gods only know how she acquired a cloaking device. The plan is to have the Maraar act as a front door, in other words a decoy ithe charges against themnto the Kunar system under the guise of merchant ship coming to acquire minerals. The Vasrak and Vaillun are the "escort" ships. Once in system we will proceed to rescue the senior officers. The Maraar hold has over a thousand hardened Orion marauder soldiers on board, the equivalent of Federation Marines, and should be more than enough to handle the Cardassian garrison.
On another note, Tayshi D'hetr has brought along some Suprise witnesses as to the nature of the charges the "renegade" Cardassians were using to justify the "trial". With said evidence the Castellan of Cardassia with the full approval of the parliamentary Assembly gave full pardons. With the pardons Tayshi D'hetr and the Eau de Nil a letter of marque and reprisal; allowing the Orion's to take care of the 'rebel' faction, as well as the heat for their deaths.
