Posted on Fri Jul 4th, 2025 @ 11:34pm by Captain Rhenora Kaylen in General News

I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.

I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.

Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Tue Mar 24th, 2026 @ 11:01am by Captain Rhenora Kaylen

Captain Rhenora Kaylen had spent a good number of hours preparing the mission report for Starfleet Command. She had gone in depth, praising the talents of the Engineering teams, as well as the junior crew who had held their own against Naussican thugs. Said thugs were still in their brig and would be offloaded on Earth. The medical teams who had tended Captain Batel diligently also garnered honourable mentions.

Not more than an hour after she had transmitted the report, an incoming communication from Command demanded her attention. The wisened facd of Admiral Gjyn graced the small screen, confusion clear…

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Tue Mar 24th, 2026 @ 6:26am by Lieutenant JG Jacob Rosen & Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale

Jacob sipped an absolutely exquisite Añejo, leaning back in a sparingly upholstered chair and listened to the sound of waves crashing against the Oaxacan shore. The holographic cafe owners deposited an additional bowl on the table next to him and nodded kindly.

"Gracias mi compa." Jacob replied warmly, reaching into the pocket of his linen shirt for ancient folds of currency and handing it over. The radio played a Cumbia rhythm from it's slightly blown out speakers. He refilled his small glass and sipped again, savoring the delicate notes of the aged Mezcal. This was a welcome respite after quite…

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Tue Mar 24th, 2026 @ 6:08am by Lieutenant JG Olivia Voight & Lieutenant JG T'Lar

Olivia was a bit stressed due to her brother Liam mainly trying to get her to return home. Her brothers Axel and Kyson had been doing the same, but they had backed off a bit since her joining. Plus, there was the fact that she was still adjusting to some degree on being joined with her symbiont. She had been working hard to be selected for joining that she hadn’t taken the time to focus on the issues with her brothers. Olivia had only been joined with the Voight symbiont a few months when she got her new orders to…

» Grief in a Bottle - In Honor of Marie Batel

Mission: Beholder
Posted on Tue Mar 24th, 2026 @ 12:45am by Lieutenant Commander Bonnie "Bon-Bon" Durnell & Lieutenant Leo Da'Cinci

The announcement found Bonnie in that quiet, fragile space where thought and instinct drifted together without friction. Numbers had been moving beneath her fingers, steady and obedient, the kind of work that gave her something to hold onto after too many hours awake.

When the shipwide channel opened, the voice carried through Engineering with a clarity that left no room for interpretation. "End of shift. Captain Marie Batel." The words settled, slow and deliberate, like ash drifting down after a fire had already burned itself out somewhere far away.

Bonnie’s hands stilled on the console. The data remained in place,…

Mission: Beholder

The Sunfire had retrieved all their personnel, save the one crewman who had died on Vadia IX and was now about to leave Skygowan, heading back to the nearest Starbase for resupply. Captain Kaylen Rhenora sat quietly by Batel's bedside, watching the indicators on the panel start to slip slowly in the wrong direction.

Rowan approached the biobed his gaze settling on the display as the readings continued their slow decline. "Her condition is shifting," he said quietly.

Batel stirred at his quiet words, her eyes flickering open in the subdued lighting. "It's rude to talk about people in front…

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.

Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.

Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…

» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer

Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne

Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge

Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.

At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.

Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.

Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)

I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2

The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
