"I'll, uh, yeah, get to work outside. See what sort of damage we're looking at." Bonnie said as she grabbed her kit. "Can someone cover me, you know, in case?" She asked as she placed the helmet back upon her suit.

"I will accompany you outside Bonnie." Savar spoke up and like Bonnie he refastened the helmet to his suit. "I will exit first to make sure the area is clear for you to attempt repairs." Jenna provided cover as Savar helped Sarah, but in between firing shots she had somehow lost track of Commander Baldric. The horde was growing ever closer. "Bonnie, when I give the word, lift off and hover at 10 feet." A phaser shot struck the bulkhead to her left and she thought twice. "Make it 20." She was waiting for Savar and Sarah to enter.

Savar stepped out of the shuttle first. His sharp eyes surveying their surroundings. There were large buildings around them and the fog of spores. No people had yet to move toward them. "Sarah, please collect what you need I wish us to be here no longer than necessary."

Sarah nodded and made a beeline for a corpse that was nearby, taking a multitude of readings before moving on to the next one. She really wanted to study the transfer of the pathogen but knew that wad probably going to be unlikely.

Savar sat in the co-pilots seat with Jenna in the pilot's seat. They had just finished their preflight check list and were waiting orders to launch. Bonnie, Sarah and Jennifer were seated behind them. "We are just awaiting orders to proceed." Savar told the others as an awkward silence had filled the shuttle but it was really unnecessary. They all knew what they were waiting on.

Each shimmering point of light reminded her of the vastness of the universe, yet the familiar hum of the ship's engines, usually a source of comfort, now felt unsettlingly distant. A soft chime from her PADD interrupted her thoughts—a notification indicating that her transport to the nearest starbase was ready.

Commander's log, situation report. The Sunfire was systematically attacked by an unknown, un-seen assailant. We are still searching the ship for a complete list of our missing crewmembers. They were able to pull us out of warp and transport over under some sort of personal cloaking system.

Speculation at this point is not helpful, but the only species I've met with that sort of cloaking tech is the Jem' Hadar. It churns my stomach to know how efficiently they were able to enter, take our people and leave. What's worse is that we do not yet know why, only guesses.…
