To: Captain Rhenora Kaylen, USS Sunfire From: Ngaza, Chief Strategic Operations Officer Date: Stardate 49013.8
Captain,
This is a video message to introduce myself ahead of my transfer.
(The message begins. Ngaza appears on screen, his form filling most of the frame. He is massive, approximately 2.3 meters in height, with pale gray skin crisscrossed by a network of dark veins. His face is ancient and wise. One eye is a striking metallic purple, with a slow-moving silver nebula swirl within it. The other is concealed by a deep red eye patch with gold trim. He is wearing a standard Starfleet uniform for Deep Space 9, with the red shoulders of a command officer.)
Admiral Quinn, a friend of mine, informed me of a notable drought on Bajor. While he could not lend his full attention to the matter, he felt I was uniquely suited to assist. I found the challenge fascinating and a welcome opportunity, so I agreed to help as much as I see fit.
I understand the Sunfire is a fine ship, and I am looking forward to our work together. I will await your arrival at Deep Space 9.

Captain Kaylen Rhenora reviewed the message from the private station within her quarters, regarding this new officer with interest. Things were about to get even more interesting.
