Mission: Halloween
Location: DS9

The USS Sunfire limped her way back to Deep Space Nine, a journey that took them several days at low power to make sure the ship held in one piece after the beating she had taken during the last mission.

Repairs would be undertaken, and the crew would be granted much needed R & R on either the station itself or Bajor. For the Captain, it would be a welcome break, and a chance to catch up on things that she had missed over the last week or so. There was a small mountain of messages to be attended to, reports to authorise or read and the like. Still, everyone needed break - herself included. The station's Engineering team would tend to the Sunfire, her crew would be on leave for a week or so, and all would be good with the universe. If only it actually worked like that sometimes.

"Approaching DS9 Captain" The ships helmsman announced as the unique station loomed on the viewscreen. "They have assigned us upper pylon C"

"Very good, begin docking procedures and inform Ops of our updated repair list." The Captain replied with a smile in her voice, she could almost feel the chilly winter sea breeze of Bajor already.

"Aye Ma'am, ETA 5 minutes"

As the mighty Sunfire settled into her docking pylon the crew were allowed leave on a rotating roster to ensure a skeleton staff was on board at all times in case of an emergency. It was time to relax.
