Mission: Planet of the Dinosaurs
Location: Cave

In the dim light of the rifle light the Captain tried to assess the situation. There were nearly 200 people in the caves, some injured, most not, but now they were very much trapped, the mouth of the cave closed with a rock fall. Aurora had been freed and was now being tended to by a medic whilst comforting her son.

Rhenora worked her way through the crew, calming people, encouraging them that they would find a way out and helping where she could. She was also doing a recon to find who she could send further into the caves to scout, who were medics, who could keep the calm and the like.

Aurora could see Rhenora moving around checking on people, there was a lot of fear amongst their group not surprising given there were children amongst them. She had demanded that Sidak be checked over before her own wounds were tended to, wanting to be sure her son was unharmed. Now he lay sleeping in her arms she sat as her lower leg and ankle were tended to, she had more of a flesh wound, thankfully no break given it was trapped amongst falling rock earlier.

“Captain...” She looked towards Rhenora. “Why don’t you sit down and rest, you’ve been on the go since the rock fall.”

"We don't have time for rest at the moment. We've got no food or water and so supplies." Rhenora replied in a gentle tone. "We also don't know how badly the camp was hit. We need to work out a way to get out of here ourselves" she looked around the large cave they were in. Turning her attention back to the crew she stood on a large rock and let out a peircing whistle. As the chatter died she raised her voice.

" We need to find a way out..in a moment I am going to turn the lights off, and I need every one of you to look for natural light, and listen for water."

A moment later at the Captain's nod, those with lights switched them off and the cave was plunged into instant darkness. The crew were quiet, listening, looking for anything that could indicate a way out of their current situation.

"I can hear water!" Someone shouted after a moment.
"I think I can see daylight!" someone else echoed.

There was a collective sigh of relief as the light was switched back on, only one though to conserve the reserves that they had.

" Ok, we're going to split off some teams to search for a way out, some will remain here with the children and those who are injured." The Captain explained, stepping down from the rock and working her way through the crew, effectively dividing them into two smaller teams and a larger one to remain behind.

"I can stay with the children", Blake offered. She had found out that the children were absolutely adorable. Part of her wished she had child of her own, but for now she was content with helping out the people who needed it. Also, Dr. Wilson might need help later on. Blake had found she also like helping the Doc out.

"Of course" Rhenora nodded as the team was divided, each group standing separately "See if you can ascertain what supplies we have while we're gone" . There were two groups of around 10 people each, and the remainder staying in the caves. "


"Alright Alpha team, with me, Beta team, follow Lt Harding and check the water course to see if we can follow it out of here" Rhenora ordered as she turned to head her team out towards the faint glimmer of sunlight she had seen earlier. It was deep down one of the branch caves.
