A change of roles

Location: Deck 1 - Acting Captain's ready room

Jodon sat in his office he was about to beam down to the planet surface until he got told he had a transmission that required him immediately. He entered his ready room for the time and sat behind the computer terminal reading the latest inbox.

The message was from Starfleet Command and it followed:
"Dear Commander Arlidd
given the recent events with the Dominion War and our recovery. As you and the whole Galaxy is aware we are mobilizing our forces again. We require your ability at another Starship USS Roon Miranda Class which you'll take full command of located in Sector 88873 H-K-9 System,

We are also dismissing Provisional Captain Margaret Reese from service. We are also granting Lieutenant Commander Sandy Shannon a field promotion to the rank of Captain and granting her full Captaincy of the USS Sunfire. While Captain T'Brei Sheridan remains as a now permeant Starfleet envoy to the Romulan Star Empire.

Jodon sat back in his seat. It was odd to get something from command but now he wasn't this ship's commanding officer anymore he was other ships Captain but without the Captain rank or Captain of the starbase anymore.

Later he had packed up and requested a shuttle to use for his leave which was accepted and he took that shuttle to the place where he would stay. But the only thing that was in his head was how he would tell his wife who was already upset abut him taking command of the Sunfire.
