Mission: Sunfire Station Keeping Starbase 247
Location: Sunfire Deck 1 - Captain's ready room
Timeline: 7 hours after post "Fighters Away" Part 2

Captain Reese sat in the Captain's ready room the cleanup of Omega was complete and now she had lota of paperwork to complete. She had a cup of water and the terminal on to do a written captain's log but paused for a moment pondering wither to do a written or voiced log... It had been a while since she did a voiced log 5 years to be exact she called out, "Computer begin acting captains log."

"Acting Captains log stardate 99392.95," Margaret called out "Operation rainfall is complete. The Sunfire along with the USS Eagle under acting command of Commander Arlidd are returning to Starbase 247 where Sunfire will continue to complete her refit while the Eagle stills remain detached to the station..." Then she paused for a second, "Computer lock the next section with a level 10 security level."

She paused to make sure the computer had done it she had problems like this before, "Omega was coming for a Norway Class of starship the USS Horizon commanded by Captain T'fek a good friend of mine...The ship was lost during 2374 in the war the ship systems were too heavily damaged to be accessed by anyone and no body's where found leading me to believe that Captain T'fek and his crew are still alive somewhere in the Galaxy because no escape pod or shuttle was launched."

Then Reese pulled herself up from behind the desk and began to walk towards the window where she could see the stars going past, "How did Omega get there?" She continued "Unknown there was no evidence it was made on the ship or brought onto the ship... When I return to taking command of Starbase 247 I'll be putting a request forward to Starfleet Command to retrieve the starship and explore it maybe we could learn from it... If we can that is... But where is the crew? How did they go?" Reese turned herself around to face the door of the ready room "Computer end log and send it to Vice Admiral Freddy Blackwel at Starfleet HQ."

Then Reese slowly walked out of the ready room and onto the bridge of the USS Sunfire.
