Character Development
Location: Quarters and DS9
Timeline: Prior to downtime
Savar was in his sanctuary, the quarters he shared with Aurora, Sidak and their unborn child. They were his strength, his anchors especially Aurora and her understanding of him. He loved her a great deal and was looking forward to spending time with her and making her happy and content.
"Aurora, my wife, my love what would you like to do in the free time we have?" he asked coming into the living area.
Aurora gazed up from where she sat playing with Sidak. “Anything as long as I get to spend it with you Imzadi.” She smiled warmly.
Savar nodded, "Ah, my time with you is always enjoyable Aurora. However, is there nothing you would like us to do?
“Well...” Aurora paused. “I would like to meet my in-laws, as Humans put it, your family. I’ve never met them but it’s not like they could get here on the spur on the moment.”
Savar nodded, "You are curious to my parents and sister. That is normal to be curious. "If you agree, we can use one of the holosuites on the station or one of the Sunfire's holodecks and a meeting can be arranged. Or have you another idea Aurora?"
“Oh no, that sounds wonderful” Aurora smiled warmly. “That’s if you think they’ll be ready to meet me?”
Savar came over and sat down next to Aurora. "Aurora, you are my wife, my mate, my soulmate. We are bonded. Forever joined. My family will be ready to meet you. I am sure of it." He answered as he gently tickled Sidak. "However, before you meet my family. I think it would be prudent of us to go by Quarks and let Commander baldric know why we aren't at the party or we can just message her via our combadges."
“I forgot about the party, perhaps we should attend? Either that or we could go afterwards?” Aurora gave Savar a curious look. “I don’t mind.”
"We should not appear anti-social Aurora though I do want you to meet my family. We can go now and not stay long then go to the holodeck. I do not wish to disappoint you." Savar replied earnestly.
Aurora nodded in agreement. “Let’s do that, and you could never disappoint me Imzadi.” She smiled warmly. “I’d better get Sidak ready to go with us, he just needs changing, and I need to put on Something suitable for both the party and meeting your parents, then we’ll be ready to go to the party.”
Savar nodded, "As you wish Aurora and I hope you will always feel that way. I can change Sidak so you can change Aurora. It will get us to the party a little quicker if you wish.'
“That would be lovely” Aurora smiled and nodded. “I won’t be long, I just need to find something suitable for meeting your parents, as well as being partywear. I’ll be back soon.” With that she headed into the bedroom.
"Take your time Aurora. I am sure you will find a suitable outfit to satisfy my parents as well as being acceptable partywear." Savar answered as he carried Sidak into his nursery and began to change the infant.
A suitable dress change later Aurora smiled as she did a little twirl for Savar, “How do I look? Am I presentable?”
Savar looked at Aurora and the dress she had chosen. It was stylish and showed off her trim figure without being overtly revealing. His eyes found hers as he moved to her. "Aurora my love, my wife, my everything. You are always presentable. I believe I can say my family will be suitably impressed by both you and your attire."
“Wonderful” Aurora smiled as she moved closer before giving Savar a kiss. “Are we ready to go?”
Savar returned her kiss. "I believe we are more than ready to go. So, let us not hesitate. A party and a visit with my parents await."
