Andrew turned away from the view screen in science lab 1 following his conversation with Captain Devoe, and started making his way towards sickbay. He'd received an internal reminder on his PADD about reporting to sickbay for his physical following Dr Sheridan's earlier announcement.
"Sickbay" he ordered the turbolift as he stepped in.
"Woah, hold on!" came a voice from behind him. Turning quickly, Archer instinctively raised his arm out into the corridor so that the turbolift doors wouldn't close automatically.
A Tellarite came hurtling into the turbolift, semi-breathless, and the doors finally closed."Thank you."
Andrew looked at the Tellarite and noticed it was the same one who had gazed at him on the bridge yesterday. "How does my beard look today?" he chuckled.
Taazk seemed surprised and embarrassed for a moment. How did this man know about the comments he'd made about his beard? There was only one conclusion; "Hmm, either your a Betazoid or a hell of a good judge of facial expressions."
"I'm only half-Betazoid actually, but still a very good judge of facial expressions." Archer smiled playfully as he extended a hand. "Lieutenant Andrew Archer, Chief Science Officer."
Taazk took the man's hand and shook it in a friendly, yet firm manner. "Chief Petty Officer Taazk, Assistant Chief Engineer. Say, sorry to barge in on your turbolift journey, but when I heard you were heading for sickbay I thought I'd join you. I'm on my way there myself."
"So you heard Dr Sheridan's request too, huh?" Andrew raised an eyebrow. "This'll be my fourth physical this year. Starfleet sure do want us to be in peak physical condition don't they?"
The turbolift doors opened and the two men stepped out into the corridor. Archer turned to his companion as they walked the short distance to sickbay, "At 14:00 the Captain should be arriving via the USS Ferrera. I've arranged a welcome ceremony for him on the flight deck. I'd appreciate it if you attended."
Taazk bowed his head slightly, "Of course, I'll be there."
"I'm going to ask Dr Sheridan to attend also," Andrew explained, "I may as well ask her in person while I've got her attention."
The two men entered sickbay, greeted by the sight of a half naked Bolian standing in the middle of the room. Awkward glances were exchanged for a few silent moments, before Dr Sheridan came walking from inside her office, "Gentlemen, are you my next customers?"

Doctor T'Brei T'Ana Sheridan, heard the Nurse speaking with new arrivals . She pulled on her consultation jacket and walked from her office to the ward.
"Greetings, I am Doctor Sheridan the CMO, and you two are? She ask as the head nurse took the PADDS from the two officers. T'Brei motioned to bio bed one and biobed two.
The nurse prepared both beds with the customary Crew physical exams.
The CMO ask of Biobed one patient. "Any maladies bothering you currently?"
The Head Nurse spoke to the Officer at biobed two. "It will not be long and the Doctor will join you for your physical appointment."

Taazk returned to Sickbay, a place no crew member wanted to visit unless in dire need, for his follow up appointment.
He had other places to be and engineering components to build before the Captains arrival and time was in short supply.
"Is this going to take long Doc?" the Tellarite asked in frustration.
"Yes Chief, it will take as long as it takes" she replied professionally. She walked over to Lt. Archer and looked back. "My nurse will speak to you about my concerns and all being well, with some monitoring you will be able to resume your duties".
Taazk nodded to the CMO.
The Doctor had the power to make or break a mans Starfleet career. If she didn't think you were fit to serve, she could remove you from active duty. She even had the power to remove the Captain under certain situations. For that, she should have everyone's respect. You never know when you might need a Doctor to heal a disruptor burn.
The nurse came over after several minutes of waiting and explained that Taazk had high blood pressure readings from his medical several days before. For the next 48 hours, this was to be monitored. If the readings hadn't improved, he would be staying on Star Base 10, removed from the Sunfire's crew roster. A sinking feeling began to grow.
She attached a small medical device to the side of his neck and informed him of his return appointment date.
He smiled and hopped off the bed. "Thank you nurse" and nodded to the Doctor again as he left Sickbay.
An idea brewed in his mind as he headed towards the turbo lift? He spoke quietly to himself, "I wonder if Star Base 10 sells Vulcan Brandy?"
The turbo lift doors opened and Taazk walked in with a smile on his face.
