Two Days and Two Nights

Mission:
Gamma Quadrant
Location: DS9
After arriving at Deep Space Nine, Harper arranged with the ship’s executive officer to have a couple of days off. They had been out to space for a few weeks when the captain ordered a return. Harper decided to take advantage of this return and seek out some fun on the space station. He had even arranged to have temporary quarters on the space station for a couple of days. He truly wanted some time off.
Harper checked into his new temporary quarters when a woman walked into his quarters. Harper turned around and responded, “Excuse me, these are my quarters.” The women looked mortified and turned to leave. She then stopped, looked back, and said, “Sorry, I get turned around a lot. I am still pretty new here.”
Harper looked at the woman who stood 5’5, and he estimates she weighed 150 (wet). She had long brown hair and green eyes. While she looked human, she had a couple of round spots on her hands—they were both brown. The women wore a Starfleet Science Uniform. Harper smiled and said, “I guess there is no harm done.” Reaching out his hand, he continued,
“I am Harper. I am visiting for a couple of days while my ship is docked here. May I ask who you are?”
Shaking his hand, the woman replied, “Are you going to report me? You see, I tend to be absent-minded, and this type of thing has happened to me a couple of different times. The last thing I want is trouble with the station commander while I wait for my new ship to arrive.”
Harper smiled and responded, “Relax, your secret is safe with me. When do you leave?”
The woman smiled and said, “I have two days and two nights left here.” Harper replied, “that is how long my leave is too. What do you say we go and get something to eat in Quark’s bar? I hear he has some pretty good food?”
The woman thought about it for a minute and then responded, “Okay, but I will need to go to my actual quarters first. Shall we meet in, say, forty-five minutes?” Harper nodded, and then the women left.
After she left, Harper started to unpack somewhat when he realized he had no idea who this woman was. I guess he would find out in about forty-five minutes.
