Location: DS9

The trip back to Deep Space Nine had been largely uneventful. The two Bajoran ships followed the Sunfire as though a pair of puppies on a lead, one resisting just a little bit more than the other and requiring a firmer hand. The other carried on of its own accord, following the mother ship back through the Temple and to it's planet of origin.

" Captain, DS9 is hailing us" Ops announced as she Sunfire exited the wormhole with her two charges in tow.

"On screen" Rhenora replied from the centre chair, turning her attention from the small display screen embedded in the arm of her command chair to the main viewscreen. Captain Kira appeared, looking oddly bemused.

"Back so soon Captain?" The Bajoran opened with a smile " Anyone may think you want a job here" The banter was lighthearted.

" And miss all these trips through the wormhole? She's all yours Nerys" Rhenora retorted, her expression one of light hearted ribbing. " We do need to drop off some Bajoran refugee's we found hiding in an ion cloud from some Cardassians, and their two ships" Rhenora explained as she sent over the data they had collected. " I didn't think they'd appreciate a tour of the Gamma quadrant stuck in our cargobay"

" I'll make the necessary arrangements. Take upper pylon C, I'll send some crew in for the transfers" Kira signed off to make the necessary arrangements whilst Rhenora updated the Sunfire's records, also granting the crew 24 hours rec leave before they would ship out the day after.

The Sunfire slid gracefully towards the upper docking pylon, teethering without a hitch and allowing the easy transfer of personnel and cargo. The two Bajoran ships were transferred to DS9's cargo hold to be repaired and returned whilst the refugee's were escorted to Ds9's infirmary then the visitors quarters. Rhenora sighed a breath of relief, before handing the ship over to the watchman and heading out for some rec leave herself.
