Kedzi heard the chief of security never showed, and she was announced Chief of Security. It was a shock to her she was only an assist Security officer, but now the chain of command was change she runs the whole show now.

She ran through some padd work to make sure Security is running smoothly and other security detail to make sure all is right and clear for her post as Chief Security of the USS-Sunfire.
Kedzi left her office for a brief Stroll.
