Mission:
*CD*
Location: Quarks, DS9
Timeline: Current.
In Quarks bar, Joran sat at a table by himself waiting. He watched as patrons came and went, some having made a fortune on the dabo tables, many though having lost one.
A Bajoran entered and made his way to the bar and ordered a drink. Casually looking around, they spotted Joran and made their way over to him, taking a seat.
"Well?" Joran asked the newcomer now they'd sat down.
The new arrival looked around him, in an almost bored way before answering "The plan's changed since you reported. The main target's are still the same, but there's an additional one."
"Who?" Joran asked.
"The stations Commanding Officer" the reply came back.
An almost imperceptive raise of one eyebrow was all that Joran allowed before catching himself. He knew things were going to change, after all, they found themselves on DS9 now instead of where they were meant to be, back on the home base.
"You do realise how difficult that's going to be" Joran said quietly.
"Yes, but you're in her good graces, to coin a human expression" he got back.
"Tolan, being an assistant is one thing, but I've only just begun working for her, how do you propose I do this without causing suspicion" Joran asked.
"That's your problem, I'm just passing along what's been decided, besides, your good at thinking on your feet, look what you've accomplished already and you've only been here a little while" Tolan answered.
"How many do we have heree that we can trust?" Joran asked.
"Four....six if you include us trusting one another" Tolan replied.
Joran thought for a moment, then said "I've to report to the Captain on a meeting I attended with the shopkeepers on the Prominade, to do with new Security measures intoduced there recently."
"Then you're already tracking what she's doing?" Tolan asked.
"Yes, I'm in charge of her scheduling" Joran said "but we can't just do it straight away, this has to be done at a time and place I know will cause the least trouble to us. I need to study the schedules for a while, see if there's a patern to who she see's regularly, and where. Once I have that we can meet again and make a solid plan. Who are the four others we can trust?"
"I'll leave that information under my glass" Tolan answered, standing up. He mimicked thanking Joran for something, put his glass back on the table, turned and left.
Watchig him go, Joran picked up the glass Tolan had been drinking from and found a slim chip there. Palming it, he caught a Ferengi waiter passing by and placed the empty glass on the tray they were carrying, ordering himself another drink at the same time. As the waiter nodded and walked off, he slipped the chip into a pocket in his jacket and sat back. This wasn't going to be easy...
