{USS Sunfire, Sickbay}

Once he saw that the electro-plasma orb was in sickbay, Andrew made short work of getting down there from the bridge. He had entered the turbolift, which were now working thanks to main power having been restored, and ran down the corridors towards the infirmary.

When he entered, he saw Doctor Sheridan stood in the middle of the room. She was glowing with a bright light! Her gaze moved slowly towards Andrew and she cracked a smile. Did Vulcans even smile?

“Doctor...” Andrew stepped tentatively towards the woman, “... you appear to be glowing. Is everything okay?” He had his suspicions but needed it to be confirmed.

Sheridan moved her head awkwardly for a moment before smiling again. “Did we... did we hurt your vessel?” she questioned. Her voice sounded a few octaves deeper than usual, and it sounded as though three or four voices were speaking the same sentence all at once.

“No, well, yes, but we fixed it.” Andrew explained. His half Betazoid physiology was screaming at him that this woman wasn’t alone inside her mind anymore. The electro-plasma orb had clearly entered the woman and was now using her body as a puppet to communicate. “Who are you? How can we help you?” He asked.

Captain Devoe rushed into sickbay, quickly followed by Lieutenant Modi and CPO Taazk, each taking a moment to absorb the image of a glowing Vulcan Doctor stood before them.
