News tended to travel fast through the Bajoran villages, word of mouth the most common source of information. Brin and Faro were ever watchful when it came to the village by the sea, keeping a constant vigil on the progress of the cottage rebuild. They had made connections with some of the locals and builders, on the pretense of wanting to assist in the rebuild. An opportunity should never go to waste.

They had a cult member on DS9 who had managed to get assigned to the repair detail on the Sunfire, and another that had put in a request for a cultural transfer aboard the ship. The request hadn’t been approved yet, but it hadn’t been rejected yet. A Cultural Observer with a skillset in biochemistry and xenobiology would be a most intriguing person to have on board, and could do a vast amount of damage if they so chose to. Hence why it was paramount that they got on board.

News from DS9 was that the vast majority of the Sunfire’s crew was now on leave, leaving the ship in the hands of the Starfleet and Bajoran repair crews. The opportunity for infiltration and sabotage was endless. They would destroy the Sunfire and her crew, it would appear to be a terrible accident or mishap - the details weren’t entirely nailed down yet. The pieces however were in motion. The end would come.
