::Sits at his desk in his quarters::

"Computer, start recording, personal log:

It's been one heck of a day so far and it's not even lunchtime!

I got summoned to Sickbay by the EMH earlier. On the way there, trying to catch a turbo lift, I literally ran into the Science Officer from yesterday. I did notice he had trimmed his beard as I nearly bumped into him. That was confirmed when he made a comment that put me on the defensive! He was either a mind reader or a good judge of character? He introduced himself as Lt. Andrew Archer, half-Betazoid and Chief Science Officer. My assumption was correct, he was both!
He came across as a decent character but I'll have to remember not to play a game of poker with him!

::Chuckles::

"Where was I? According to the EMH, my blood pressure readings from my earlier physical were higher than normal! Wouldn't yours be if you saw the state of the Sunfire's engines!

Breathe Taazk, breathe! Calm thought!

Computer, book a reservation at the Anbo-Jyutsu ring for 20:00 hours today. I may need to release some aggression later on!"

::Stretches out his arms to his sides::

"On another note Lt. Archer reports the Captain is coming on board at 14:00 hours today and there is a welcoming ceremony. Being the senior engineer on board I have been asked to attend.
That should be enough time to finish these Engineering reports, hopefully I can pass them over to the Chief Engineer if she's with the Captain and I can go back to what I'm good at, fixing things!
