The Intricate Species

Upon reaching the general area in which the crew had disappeared looking for marks of contact. He would take out his tricorder and start to scan marks of contact. He would scan normally then with a Bio-Scanner to see if he can get a reading from these Unknown attackers.

"What in the name of Starfleet happened here, I got my work cut out for me."

Ensign Maxim would sigh to himself as he continue to see if there is some evidence at the scene. Even if it's a simple bio-reading that would be great. He thought to himself as he continue his stubborn streak and his go to workaholic nature.

Moments later his Bio scanner would pick up a odd reading picking up a unknown anatomy from a what looks like Skin tissue from a species unfamiliar to him.

Showing signs of Decline he would finish up and Go to the research lab studying his findings. Documenting it all in a report, he would work with effort grinding out as much detail as he can. He would test the DNA if any was to be left behind and attempt to gain any intel he could.

"I'm really pulling out all the stops for this one. I hope I get something useful."

The Ensign would talk to himself a likely coping system he had in place for himself. Upon using his exhausting resources he would move to deliver his report to the bridge staff. He would take a elevator up to the bridge.

"Computer deck one."

The Elevator would spring to life as he went to the bridge and offers his report to the captain.
