This was a new experience for Leella. Perhaps it was all those years she had just spent out in deep space, but generally was uncommon to be either threatened or taken hostage this early in the day. She had just literally beamed down the planet not even 20 minutes ago, just met the Captain and she had no idea what was even going on. She started to second guess herself if she even made the right choice to come down as this time. She could read the face of Captain Devoe, and after he was shown some sort of video on a PADD, he started to make an unusual face. Like he was trying really hard to get someone's attention. But who's attention?
Leella's eyes darted around, slowly, as she tried to pick out someone in the Devoe's eyesight. However with in inability to see any more Starfleet insignia, and not really knowing the crew, it was a futile effort.
She was unarmed, as it mandatory on Risa, and she was unsure if this Nausicaan's were armed, but their brute strength was enough to offer a threat. She did try to play out a few scenarios on her head about what might happen if she went on the attack, but none of them seemed like they were going to work out well. Leella decided it was in her best interest just to follow the Captain's lead and see what he did.
