Mission: Welcome Aboard!
Location: USS Sunfire
Timeline: Present

:ON:

Captain Devoe had ordered the Sunfire to make for the nearest star system. The journey took only a short while, less than an hour. Arriving at Dekree Prime, the ship came to a stop.

“Well, we have taken you to a star.” Archer communicated with the orb that still had possession of Dr Sheridan’s body. “It should sustain you for centuries. Now please leave this ship in peace.”

Sheridan, or rather the lifeforms that inhabited her, smiled.

The ethereal glow that had surrounded the Vulcan doctor glowed stronger and more intense. Eventually the electro-plasma orb separated itself from the doctor and moved through sickbay’s bulkhead.

Andrew tapped his comm-badge, “Archer to Captain Devoe, I believe the orb is leaving the ship. Can you confirm?”

=/\= The orb is moving towards the sun. Good job Archer! =/\=

Andrew moved towards Sheridan, who had sat down on one of the bio beds. A quick scan with the medical tricorder revealed no long term damage, other than a touch of amnesia from when the orb possessed her.

“I’ll leave you in the hands of your capable nursing team,” Andrew smiled and ushered one of the nursing staff over, “but you should be completely fine.”

Archer then started to make his way to the bridge. It had been a strange few days, but he was glad it was now over. He wondered what fresh news the Captain could bring the crew. Perhaps some R&R on Risa? He chuckled at the thought.
