Meeting

Location: Ready Room

Niali stood outside the ready room and smoothed her uniform down. She pressed the chime. Now maybe she would gain some more information and order which comes with clarity.

Jennifer had arrived in the office only moments before - to be met by Ronson who it appeared was getting used to rapid changes in command. " Good Morning Captain...coffee or tea?" He asked as he set a small mountain of padds on the corner of the desk next to yesterday's pile.

" Ahh.. coffee...white...no sugar. You are??" Balric's head was spinning trying to everyone's names in her mind.

"Yeoman Mitchell, your assistant. Now.. I will arrange a secured channel with Command for you, and coffee with something to eat will be on your desk in 5" Mitchell vanished through a small door in the room's wall.

" Right.. ok. Now... Come in" She turned towards the door and rubbed the bridge of her nose.

Niali entered the room unsure of how she would be received. She stood there looking at the Commander. “Good morning again Commander I am sorry to bother you in what I am sure is a very busy time for you but…I need a little background on the current status of the ship and command staff so I can do my job to the standard you would wish me too?”

"Doctor, please take a seat" Jennifer indicated the chair opposite her own and she sank into it, grateful for Ronson appearing a moment later with two coffees and a small plate of sandwiches.

"To be honest I've only been here a week"she tossed the CMO a wry smile "however I have appointed Mr house and Mr Finchley to be XO and 2XO, the rest I'm still working on" she admitted sagely.

They chatted amicably for a short while regarding the new assignments before going about their duties.
