| Personal History | T’Neela’s parents met on Earth, her father Sejek of Vulcan was an Ambassadorial aide and met her mother April at an embassy function. April already had two daughter by another marriage, her husband was drowned whilst trying to rescue the family dog. T’Neela or Neela suffers from a genetic mutation whereby her hair was white when she was born and it never changed. Neela was born on Vulcan. She originally attended school near the family home on the Vorath Sea in the Province of Raal. She tried hard to fit into the world of logic but after several ‘incidents’ she was sent back to Earth to live with her sisters. She returned to Vulcan for a year when she was sixteen and began to study and embrace logic. At age 19 she applied for and was accepted into Starfleet Medical Academy and graduated with honors. She trained for a further 2 years in trauma and emergent Medicine and surgery obtaining distinctions in both fields. | |
