| General Overview | Chester prefers to be called by his nickname, "Duo." His father gave him the nickname as he was the second of a trio of triplets. Duo is a relative quiet person who likes to stay to himself, until you get to know him. He posses a strong sense of morals and holds duty and honor in the highest regard. |

| Personal History | Duo was born on the dusty plains of West Texas, Earth. He enjoyed a rural childhood along side his two brothers. Duo grew up on tales of the legendary Texas Rangers, many being his ancestors. Spending many nights camping out under the vast canvas of stars around his home also imparted both a fascination and love of the stars, along with the desire to go there and explore them. Due to his natural predilection toward duty and personal honor he was selected for the security and tactical specialization at Starfleet Academy. Duo did well in the Academy, graduating twenty-third in his class. After graduation, Duo was assigned to the USS Sunfire-A under the command of Commodore James West. Duo excelled on the Sunfire and served there with distinction. During the Marquis Insurgency, Starfleet Intelligence recruited Duo to go under cover with the Marquis. Much of his time with the Marquis remains classified. Duo's mission with the Marquis was a success. Prior to the suppression of the Marquis, Duo was recalled and debriefed. At the outbreak of the Dominion War, Duo was again enlisted by Starfleet Intelligence, but this time on an even more dangerous mission...deep cover while surgically altered to appear as a Cardassian Glinn. Due to the brutal nature of the war, Starfleet was unable to retrieve Duo after his initial mission was over, and he was forced to spend the whole war undercover. The brutality of the war left lasting marks on Duo's psyche. He spent several years in both physical and mental rehabilitation to help him cope with his experiences during the war. After being cleared for active duty, Duo requested a deep space posting hoping that the stars would heal him. In a stroke of luck, he was assigned to the successor of his first posting, the USS Sunfire-B where he currently serves as Chief Security Officer. |
