| General Overview | Freya is a caring, friendly young woman who isn't afraid to speak up for what she believes is right. She has a strong personality which has got her into trouble a time or two. Freya is the granddaughter of the matriarch of the Betazed house of Savette. A family considered to be Betazed's version of Earth's Royal's, she has chosen not to use the 'title' and never has just as her mother chose to do. |

| Personal History | Freya was born at Starfleet medical after her mother suffered complications with her pregnancy, the two spent a couple of months there but once released she was raised between various star bases and starships as a typical Starfleet child. Even though her family are Betazed's version of royalty, her parents are wealthy in their own right, with a hotel chain to their name. Freya has left the running of the business to her brother Joseph. Her abilities developed earlier than usual but she was lucky to have her mother there to train her on how to use her abilities properly. At the age of 13 Freya’s parents made an arrangement for Freya to marry Joren Rhen, following the Betazoid tradition of arranged marriages. Freya liked Joren and he treated her well but they were not meant to be, the relationship didn’t make it as far as marriage. At the age of sixteen Freya enrolled at Betazed University following the Counselling track, she proved herself to be a natural Counsellor and graduated with distinction. Upon leaving Betazed University Freya made up her mind to enrol in Starfleet Academy much to the delight of her parents. She was a well liked, hard working student but her strong willed personality clashed with some of her tutors & although she had a few reprimands from time to time she graduated four years later with honours. It was whilst at the Academy that Freya met Kaden Ross. The two fell in love and eventually married. They have two children Arek and Athena. They haven’t seen each other since just after Athena’s birth when Kaden was called away with the marines again. |
