Welcome Aboard

Hello everyone and welcome to the USS Sunfire. Some of you I have had the pleasure of meeting on Discord over the last week. I plan to start our first mission soon. I'd like give everyone some time to post coming aboard and getting settled in. We are currently docked at Starbase 10 awaiting the rest of the crew. If you aren't on Discord, I would encourage you to sign up. We are able to converse back and forth and share OOC ideas. This can also be done here or on Facebook.

It is my goal for us to post once a week individually and as a crew. If you ever have a question or concern please don't hesitate to ask. We are here after all to have fun and enjoy our passion for ST. You are more than welcome to post your questions or concerns creatively with a JP or OOC in private. Your Skipper has an open door policy. I only ask that you don't try to change policy or self promote using said policy.

If you haven't already done so. I encourage you to flesh out your character Bio. I was guilty of it myself and I have rectified it. If you have any special character arch's, please let me know so that I can work them into the stories that we write. I've seen a couple already that I intend to use as we go. So, don't be surprised if you get to take the spotlight. Enjoy it and run with it.

We have a mix of new and returning players. Unfortunately, I don't know who is brand new as I didn't review all the applications before I was nominated as Capt. I was able to personally meet with the last three or four of you that came on and I was able to feel out your previous game experience.

Having said that. I prefer to promote from within before I look outside the ship. If you haven't already noticed, we are without an XO. If you're remotely interested, please place your name in the Sorting Hat. We can creatively find ways to work out the details in character. I don't see anything I can't work with.

I'd also, be interested in doing a Q&A with you. So, feel free to submit your questions and I will answer them when we have enough of them. As my Xo from the USS Nimitz said the first day I meet him. "ask away. free potshots at the XO."
